Love of Fantasy

Even as a child, I loved fantasy, and I don’t mean fairy stories as much as other worlds, like Narnia and Middle Earth. I think I loved them because they delighted my imagination with beauty and put good vs. evil conflict into a story I could identify with but not be dragged down by. It was escape, yes, because it was fun, but it also expressed for me my hurt and anger and heartache, as well as my delight over what was good and beautiful.

It’s still my favorite type of story. What about you?

  1. I too love fantasy and stories of good vs evil in which the characters are so relatable, challenged and yet strive to do their best in the face of seemingly overwhelming odds. I am so looking forward to your new book!!
